However, when purchasing libraries, we often acquire items from other scientific fields and these are also listed in our catalogs. We list our books by authors usually in three categories (i.e. Books, Regional, and Government). Our aim is to issue five to six catalogs per year with some additional specialized listings. A return policy is in place should you feel the books are not properly described. Ordering: Please order by catalog number, item number (left column), and author. The numbers at the end of each item is our reference and is used by customers for calling up various categories. Most of The Hannum Company books are limited to one or two copies, so all requests are subject to prior sale. If you order by email, the availability will be checked and you will be notified within 24 hours. The Hannum Company will hold the books until your check is received. Payment: Payment should be made by check for US customers and International Money Order or check drawn on US banks for international customers. Postage will be added on invoices at $3.00 for first book and $1.00 for each additional book with a maximum of $10.00 for uninsured parcels. All orders over $100.00 will be insured and the insurance cost added to the postage. Most packages will be sent by US Postal Service "book rate" unless otherwise requested by purchaser. Postage on foreign orders will be billed at actual cost plus $1.00. Overseas shipments will be sent by US Postal Service "m-bag" surface rate. Shipments to Canada and Mexico are restricted to four pounds or less, or if over eleven pounds, these can be shipped surface "m-bag."
